On a beautiful Sunday at Frogner Stadium, in front of record crowds, our young berserks welcomed our old rival Eidsvoll 1814s to the first game of the season for both teams. Vikings won the coin toss and chose to defer their choice to the second half. With a good win in Sweden under their belt the players looked well coached and ready to play.

First play of the game saw a 40+ yards TD pass from QB #5 Kevin Ford to #88 Sebastian Hoffman. This connection would be a threat all day at Frogner and 1814's were unable to defend against.

#88 Sebastian Hoffman makes a interception and runs it in for a TD. Click on the image to enlarge it and look at more pictures from the game.

Sebastian Hoffman had a stellar performance on both sides of the ball with 4 TD's and 2 interceptions. Though running from #3 Rune Nilsen and Erik #13 destroyed the 1814's defence and they could both cap of their day with TD's on the ground.

Kevin Ford shoved great poise as QB directing his offencive weapons in all directions both in the air and on the ground. Head Coach Vincent Pryme was happy with the teams performance and promises us more though Viking style football in the games to come. Next up for the Vikings will be VIF Trolls. The battle for Oslo will take place at Frogner Stadium 03 June at 14.00.

Dont miss it...
