About the Boosters
The Oslo Vikings Booster Club enables our greater community of fans, parents, and alumni to advance and support our club’s overall mission. Through the Boosters, we seek to offer our most impactful fans the opportunity to engage with the club, connect with each other, and have fun while supporting our teams!
Introducing a new platform on our 30th anniversary
In 2016, to support our vision for the Boosters, we’re fostering new levels of engagement and transparency. Beginning this year, we’re enabling our Boosters to have a direct, real impact by providing the option to choose where donations are invested in the club – in comes the inauguration of our three new funds: 1) the Equipment Needs Fund, 2) the Operating Needs Fund, and 3) the Oslo Viking Youth Fund. We welcome you to find out more on these funds here! Over the course of the year, we’ll let our supporters know how much our Booster community has raised and what impact their donations have had for our players.
Our Booster’s Direct Benefits
Of course, in addition to our Boosters’ direct impact, they receive direct benefits as well! To help show appreciation for our supporters, they receive invitations to social events along with recognition for their generosity, and to show appreciation for our strongest supporters – those who donate kr. 500 or more – they receive season passes for 1 adult and 2 children to all Viking’s home games.
