Oslo Vikings Are 2023 Elite Series National Champions

On Saturday, July 1st, our Senior Elite team became 2023 Norwegian National Champions. This is the clubs 6th title in the past  seven seasons. 

 

The game was played at the Vikings home field of Frogner Stadion in Oslo. It was close

to 1000 spectators in the audience watching this years NM finals. This years match was against the Eidsvoll 1814`s. To say this game was exciting is an understatement. It had everything you would want in a quality football game. Touchdowns on offence, defense and special teams. Both teams held the lead and it was a back and forth affair all the way until mid 4th quarter. Eventually, the home team prevailed with the final score being 42-30.

 

 

The game was highlighted by countless big plays by both teams. One man that stood out above the rest, was the game MVP. This years winner was from the Vikings, William Sewell JR. Will was all over the field. He contributed in all three phases of the game. This was one of the most dominating single player performances in a long time in Norwegian American football.

 

 

We would like to congratulate everyone who was involved in this championship win.
