OSLO VIKINGS NEED OFFICIALS

Do YOU want to be an an official? We want you to help us make Oslo Vikings grow.

Dear Vikings family, as I am sure you know. Oslo Vikings are a club in growth, and that results in that we need more officials. The upcoming season Oslo Vikings need 10 licensed officials, per today we will be 6. Being an official gives you the best seat in the house for each game, it will give a greater understanding of the game and rules.

Both theoretical training and practical training will be given by the best officials Norway have to offer during the winter/spring and you get to officiate as many games as possible after you pass the test.

Being an official is social, fun, active and you learn a lot. When you come to watch games, when you are not officiating, you get in for free at all games set up by the federation.

It is not a problem for players to officiate, it is possible to officiate when you do not have games. If you have friends and family that want to officiate, let them know. And yes, we do earn some money per game (but we do this for the love of the game, not to get rich).
