For the 2024 season and beyond, our Senior Mens team will be playing in the Swedish Superseries. We are extremely excited for the new challenges ahead.
This years Swedish Superseries will be comprised of 8 teams. 7 of which are Swedish clubs and one Norwegian club, the Oslo Vikings. Over the past couple years Sweden`s top league has just been a 4 team league. This year, three Division 1 teams have made the jump up and us, the Oslo Vikings. The Swedish Federation has made it a priority for them to grow their top league and make it a more attractive league, both for their clubs and for clubs abroad. Two Norwegian clubs were invited to join this year, Oslo Vikings and the Eidsvoll 1814`s. Eidsvoll declined the offer but we jumped at the opportunity.
Their 2024 plan is to have a schedule where each team will play each other once in the series. Making it a 7 game regular season. Following that, the top 2 teams will get a bye to the semi-finals and the teams who finish 3rd-6th place in the regular season will play in the wildcard round. Games are scheduled to start on the first weekend of April, 2024. The schedule is not 100% finalized yet, but when it is, we will be sure to send it out.

This is huge news for our club and American football in Norway. We hope this will raise the level of play not only within our club, but also in Norway in general. We can not wait to see you all in the stands to support us on our new journey in the Swedish Superseries.
