Oslo Vikings is represented on the U17 National team coaching staff. Former HC for the Eliteteam Jesse Alderfer and current defensive coordinator for the Elite team and HC for the U17 team Nicolay Falch Knutsen is the two coaches who is representing Oslo Vikings. Oslo Vikings (OV) hadde kamp mot Kongsvinger Fortress (Fortress) spilte en fin kamp på Skarnes i Hedmark fylke. Resultatet ble 42 – 6 til OV. Vi skal ikke legge for mye vekt på resultatet, siden det er tidlig i sesongen. Dog er det desto mer gledelig at vi fikk se et OV lag som spilte
On April 2nd at Frogner stadium in front of a crowd of 150+ fans, our U17 team played their first match of the year. It was a friendly match vs the Kongsvinger Fortress. The young Vikings came out firing from the opening kickoff. On offence, there was a good balance between run and pass play
Over the past weekend March 23rd-25th the Oslo Vikings Elite team traveled to Denmark and Aalborg for a friendly match with the Aalborg 89èrs of the Danish top league. It was a hard fought battle between both clubs. It certainly had the feel of a regular season game. Both teams were playing with heart and passion.
